Our Story
The journey started when co-founders Tanya Ghavri and Ashi Dua noticed a gap in the market for a premium platform that unites luxury designers under one roof while also providing a platform for lesser-known gems. And thus, The Dhoom Dhaam Weddings was founded in 2015 as an exclusive destination for festive shows, premium styling and fashion production. Now in its fifth year, The Dhoom Dhaam Company’s footprint has expanded across the country to encompass multiple cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and more.
Under the capable leadership of Tanya and Ashi, the all-female team of The Dhoom Dhaam Company has worked on charting new heights. Tanya is the dreamer, while Ashi brings the worlds she imagines to life. Together, the yin and yang of their professional rapport serves as the core of the brand’s success story. If the future is female, it is being written today by the fierce femmes of The Dhoom Dhaam Company.
TANYA GHAVRI
When it comes to celebrity fashion, Tanya Ghavri is a name to be reckoned with. Over the course of the past decade, her repertoire has played host to A-listers and style icons, including Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shraddha Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan, among other illustrious names. Today, her work is defined by her keen understanding of a client’s personal preferences and her firm grasp on the latest influences on the international fashion scene. She has also lent her styling expertise to television, film and commercials for top brands in the country, including L’Oréal, Longines, Pantene and more.
Tanya has also cemented her status as one of India’s foremost wedding stylists, taking every measure to ensure that a bride feels her best on her special day. As one half of the dream team behind The Dhoom Dhaam Company, her sartorial expertise has found expression through the annual festive showcases that have quickly become the most-awaited fashion events of the year. Her discerning eye seeks out yet-to-be discovered gems, while toasting established names in equal measure, to ensure that each trunk show is a celebration of the best that the country has to offer.
ASHI DUA SARA
The ethereal world of cinema serves as producer Ashi Dua’s first love. The founder and director of Flying Unicorn Entertainment in Mumbai, her roster of work is headlined by the critical acclaim she received as co-producer of Bombay Talkies. An ode to 100 years of Indian cinema, the anthology went on to receive widespread acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival. She has since been associated with various projects, including Lust Stories and Ghost Stories on Netflix.
As the co-founder of The Dhoom Dhaam Company, she has capably steered an all-female team and scripted their success story across multiple cities in the country. Often described as the whole and soul of the company, Ashi can be credited with sculpting Tanya’s artistic vision into never-seen-before experiences that honour the finest talents of the industry.
